One of upstate's best kept secrets is the western Catskill mountains of New York. Our farmhouse is just outside of up and coming Andes and Bovina, offering a wonderful get-away for your group of friends and family. The farmhouse holds a dozen people with ease, offering places to gather and places to chill out. Perfect for the person who wants to catch up on reading or the person who wants to get out and explore nature. Kids love the farm too.

This is about the simple pleasures. Gathering together for a great meal. Making a campfire. Sledding down the hayfield. Conversations in front of the woodstove fire. Hikes in the forest. Fireflies in the fields and shooting stars overhead. Reading the Sunday paper on the front porch.

Located 140 miles from the GW Bridge - we're an easy drive from the City and a great central gathering point for groups from Boston / Buffalo / Philly. The western Catskills offers a great variety of outdoor activities, shopping, dining and events to entertain you -- without the crowds of other mountain destinations. To be honest though, most of our guests prefer to just relax on the property and reconnect with each other! Our farm includes a swim pond and is dog friendly. Guests always say this website doesn't do the place justice.

Think ahead and plan a fishing trip to the Catskills, an early summer break, or a fall foliage weekend, holiday gathering now! Many of our guests come back year after year and book their dates months ahead, so plan early! We are half an hour from skiing at both Belleayre and Plattekill. Half an hour to horsebike riding or mountain biking. Andes is five minutes away and boasts a dozen antiquing spots and art galleries. A little over an hour to Cooperstown, ten minutes to fly fishing on the east or west branch of the Delaware River, ten minutes to golf, and half an hour to weekend farmers markets - you're sure to find our home makes the perfect home base for your Catskills get-away.
